will introduce its products across the northeast portion of the state, including cities such as Ruston and Monroe, expanding beyond its home market in Northwest Louisiana.

Founded by Shreveport natives Andrew and Lindsay Nations, Great Raft Brewing began operations in October 2013 and is the ninth production brewery in Louisiana. Beginning Mon., March 24, Great Raft Brewing will collaborate with Ruston and Monroe restaurant and bar partners to offer its three flagship beers – a black lager named Reasonably Corrupt™, a pale lager named Southern Drawl™ and an American pale ale named Commotion™.

“It is important for us to work with locally owned bars and restaurants to introduce our products,” said Andrew Nations, co-founder and president of Great Raft Brewing. “We not only want to work with craft-friendly establishments, but also want to partner with other small businesses in order to help celebrate the uniqueness of the local North Louisiana community.”

Great Raft Brewing invites the local community to participate and enjoy these new beers and learn more about craft brewing.

Launch week events include:
Tuesday, 3/25 – Keep the Pint Night, Portico – Ruston
Tuesday, 3/25 – Keep the Pint Night, Ponchatoulas – Ruston
Thursday, 3/27 – Keep the Pint Night, Pickle Barrel – Monroe

All three year-round offerings from the brewery will be available during launch week and on a continuing basis. Great Raft Brewing is actively working with its northeast Louisiana distributor, Marsala Beverage, to supply its beers on draft and in cans to additional local bars and restaurants later this month. The Great Raft Brewing beer map features a full list of accounts carrying Great Raft products at www.greatraftbrewing.com/beer-map.

Great Raft Brewing sold its first pint of beer Oct. 15 in Shreveport, La., making the sale the first of a local brew since Prohibition. The Ruston and Monroe launch week events are a continuation of Great Raft Brewing’s introduction to the northern Louisiana market.
