We traveled across the country meeting amazing small business owners in the food and beverage industry as part of our Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream Room Pitch Contest .
Entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry nationwide perfected Their two minute pitch to over 25 expert judges. The yearlong competition culminated in our finals at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery on December 9th. Finalists from the San Francisco, Denver, New York, and Boston areas competed for the chance to be Awarded a $ 10,000 grant and extended coaching and mentorship from Samuel Adams Employees .
Congratulations to our overall winners (above), Daniel and Rebecca Dengrove, owners of New York based Brewla bars . Daniel and Rebecca impressed the judges With Their unique spin on the classic popsicle with all natural ingredients and fresh brewed.
So We Launched a People's Choice contest on Facebook prior to the final Pitch Competition. The finalists competed to promote Their business to social media networks to achieve achievement Their the most votes and likes.
Catherine Oddenino and Ruthie Vishlitzky, owners of New York based Luca & Bosco tapped into Their extensive networks to take the first win as the People's Choice Award Winners.
