From Red Hare Brewing:

Red Hare Brewing will be premiering the 7th release in their Rabbit’s Reserve Series--Thrice Hopped Imperial IPA.

Thrice Hopped Imperial IPA will be introduced to the public at the Release Party held at the brewery Saturday January 25th 2-4pm. Thrice Hopped, along with Red Hare’s three mainstay beers, current seasonal selection, and Root Beer will also be available for sampling. Elder Sun will be performing live and Mac the Cheese Food Truck will be onsite.

3 is the magic number in the Thrice Hopped Imperial IPA. This brew is triple hopped during the boil with three pounds of Chinook, Falconer’s Flight and Saaz hops, then dry hopped with the same hop trio. Munich malts and 60 L off set the bitterness of the 93 IBUs with a malty punch. Upon first sip you’ll notice an initial sweetness, and grapefruit flavor. After your second sip you are hit with a bitter note on the back of the tongue. By the third sip you’ll notice the 8.4% ABV.

After January 25, 2014 Thrice Hopped Imperial IPA will be available on draught in bars, growler stores and restaurants throughout Georgia and South Carolina, as well as at the brewery.
