I love Overbite IPA. I'm glad you pointed it out today.

Damien Malfara from Old Forge Brewing makes great beer and he puts it in 16 ounce cans! That's only one or two notches beneath 'Santa Claus is here and he said this year he wants to give you ALL the presents!' lol
ReplyDeleteThanks to Damien for being on the show, thanks of course to Bill from MyBeerBuzz.com for all the hard work he puts into making the show fun and interesting every week...
...and thank you for listening!
Best,
John

I am buying a sixer of T-Rail Pail Ale in your honor. Jeremy
ReplyDeleteI think I tasted the original Porter you guys used to make and I liked it a lot. If this one is as good I'd love to be able to buy big cans of it. Cheers to Old Forge

I'm regular down at OFBC. Nice to hear you guys on the radio although I had to stream it on-line. Chris
ReplyDeleteMug Club member here. We spend all weekend at OFBC and the bartenders know is by name. It is a really nice place in Danville. J & J
ReplyDeleteOld Forge makes a summer beer that we really like. We started buying it by the case too. I think it's gone for the season but we really like it. Jenna
ReplyDeleteHi beer buzz. I enjoyed the beer and cupcake pairing. The beers all sounded so good you made me want a cupcake too. Thank you. Eric H
ReplyDeleteI am pretty new to good beer and I live just outside Danville. I had no idea we had such a great place right in downtown. Guess where we're going to go for lunch today! Thanks for the show today and for featuring a local brew.

I was one of the first OFBC mug club members. I really love the mug rack and who could forget the chocolate festival. Chris
ReplyDeleteI really like the 16oz cans but sometimes they are hard to find. I do go down and fill growlers all the time but I wish we had more cans available. Keep up the good work Damien.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the cans. Nice story and now I must find them ::)

I saw six packs of Overbite last weekend. I bought one but now I wish I bought two. I like that beer a lot and I just bought T Rail Pale for lunch. Cheers Damien

We' are also regulars at the pub so I enjoyed the show today. We loved the special beers for chocolate fest!!

I usually don't like too many dark beers. I'm not really sure why but I do like a porter now and again. Rick
ReplyDeleteI like the OFBC porter. If this one is the same you'll like it Rick. Try their TRail too.

I drove down to see the new brewpub and it is really nice. It was nice to hear you guys on today with the brewer too. I listen every week and we watch the video on Saturday nights for happy hour. You all have too much fun. Amy
ReplyDeleteI like a good sweet stout so I think this one may be a little less sweet? Xo
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't describe Resolution as sweet. It's more dry flavor for me and the rye brings that out even more.
ReplyDeleteI like it when you point out pricing on beer. I know some are a better value than others and I don't expect you to just do lower cost beer, but I like knowing when I'm going out to buy a $6 sixpack or a $20 four-pack. Jed
ReplyDeleteThanks Jed. We do try to point out pricing when I can. Sometimes beer is sent by the brewery so I may not be aware of the pricing. Other than that I usually have a pretty good idea. When time allows I'll be sure to mention it.
ReplyDeleteI think I take home more growlers of overbite IPA than anyone. Keep brewing Damien!!
