Aeronaut Brewing Coming To Sommerville, MA

From WickedLocal:

It depends, Friedlander says. After much research into how to open the first brewery in Somerville since the 1880s, he and the other three cofounders of the soon-to-be Aeronaut Brewery are seeking a federal farmer brewer’s license, which if granted would allow them to apply for a state brewer’s license – which the city of Somerville must also approve. Spring 2014 is the goal, Friedlander says.

In the meantime, Friedlander and his roommates and cofounders Dan Rassi and Ben Holmes (Aeronaut’s CEO) have begun holding open houses at 14 Tyler St. the first and third Friday of every month from 3-6 p.m. to show off their commercial brewing equipment and let people know what to expect.
