From Vanberg & DeWulf:

Pioneering beer importer Vanberg & DeWulf is once again partnering with the three year-old, fast-growing site and mobile app for beer enthusiasts, Untappd. Untappd will unveil their C2CT3 beer badge in honor the single largest one-day celebration in the nation of Belgian and “honorary Belgian” beer and the portfolio of Vanberg & DeWulf.

“Untappd is all about sharing a love of beer and continuing exploration, and so we regard them as natural partners,”  said Vanberg & DeWulf co-founder, Wendy Littlefield. “We are extremely excited to be partnering with Vanberg & DeWulf. Their mission to bring the best of specialty artisanal brewing to the States perfectly complements our goal of introducing beer enthusiasts to the different styles the world has to offer,” said The Untappd Team.

Delta Air Lines is proud to support small and mid-sized businesses like Vanberg & DeWulf and is excited to sponsor the CTCT3 event by providing tickets for the winner to Brussels so that they can encounter the authentic beer experience. Delta offers daily flights to Brussels from the new Terminal 4 at New York’s JFK International Airport and multi-times weekly service from their international gateway in Atlanta.

For all manner of travel advice for Belgium–and especially beer itineraries, we rely on our good friends at Visit Belgium.

Thursday, November 14 is the day (and night) of the Coast to Coast Toast ™. An estimated 620 bars, restaurants and shops across America will feature Vanberg & DeWulf beers and raise a toast to the importer that has, more than any other, been singularly dedicated to building Belgian beer connoisseurship in the USA. The portfolio encompasses 12 breweries and 25 styles from 5 nations. To find the beers and the hosts for the events, people need only consult the Vanberg & DeWulf and Untappd sites.

Much hoopla surrounds the launch of a new badge at Untappd. Leading up to the party and starting November 1, the C2CT3 badge can only be earned by “checking in” with aVanberg & DeWulf beer. Badge-earners have the option to be entered into a drawing to win a free round-trip flight for two to Belgium, aka Beer Mecca, courtesy of Delta Air Lines and Visit Belgium. The drawing ends on December 1.

The Coast to Coast Toast ™ is at once an anniversary party and a salute to the people and places that have built our great beer culture. Participants span two generations of craft beer advocates–uniting early adopters and more recently minted “Heroes of the Good Beer Movement™” alike.

Revelers and Untappd members will have a chance to check in at restaurants, bars and shops across the nation. More than 90 Total Wine & More shops will be nationwide HQ forVanberg & DeWulf Christmas beers--with select stores doing tap takeovers.
