Samuel Adams Utopias Will Add Kosmic Mother Funk For The First Time

In a few weeks, the brand new version of the Samuel Adams Utopias, the strongest naturally fermented beer in the world, will be hitting the store shelves once again – but this year there has been a major change.

For the first time, Samuel Adams is being blended with Kosmic Mother Funk, a barrel-aged ale that is used in all of the Samuel Adams Barrel Room Collection beers. The Kosmic Mother Funk, of KMF for short, has not been sold (although I think it would be a huge hit if it is ever released). 

Along with the KMF, portions of this year’s batch is also aged in single-use Buffalo Trace bourbon casks. Some of the beer is also aged in Port casks from Portugal.
