From Paulaner:
Hockey, basketball, concerts and other events just got a bit more culture, and a bit more fun. The first ever Paulaner Bar in the United States opened its doors last week in New England’s premier sports and entertainment arena, TD Garden.
Thirsty sports and event goers can now enjoy Paulaner biers in an authentic and unique atmosphere. The new digs were custom built in Germany and then shipped over in order to provide patrons an authentic, modern German experience. Everything from the custom-made copper and brass draught towers to the Oak and Maple-topped tables and chairs mirror those of Paulaner’s traditional bars and restaurants that are located throughout Munich today.
“TD Garden North Station has annual foot traffic exceeding 8 million people,” said Joe O’Grady, vice president at Paulaner HP USA. “The opportunity for the Paulaner brand to be seen by this volume of people in our target demographic is a perfect fit for us. These commuters and event attendees not only are able to see the Paulaner brand, they also have the opportunity to try our beers in an authentic and enjoyable setting.”
Paulaner Bar is full service and currently features five styles of authentic Paulaner draught biers – Paulaner Hefe-Weizen, Paulaner Oktoberfest, Paulaner Pils, Paulaner Munich Lager, PaulanerSalvator – as well as three from Munich’s Hacker-Pschorr Brewery including, Hacker-Pschorr Weisse, Hacker-Pschorr Weisse Dark and Hacker-Pschorr Munich Gold. The menu complements the brews, and offers freshly made soups, salads, sandwiches, pretzels and chips.
The Paulaner Bar is conveniently located on the train platform in North Station, perfect for meeting before and after Bruins games, Celtic games, and all other TD Garden events.
The Bar is open:
Monday – Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (And open until 10:30 p.m. on Bruins and Celtics game nights)
Saturday from noon – 4:00 p.m. (And open three hours before and one hour after on Bruins and Celtic game days)
The Bar will also be open on Sundays when there is a game, concert or other TD Garden event. (Three hours before event and open until one hour after).
