Weyerbacher Begins Althea Distribution

image
We brought you news of this beer…and now this from Weyerbacher:

Althea has been bottled and is shipping out to wholesalers throughout our distribution area.  One can expect to find it in relatively heavy concentration here in the Lehigh Valley, NJ and Philadelphia.

Weyerbacher Althea is a bottle-conditioned Belgian-style Dubbel with plums added weighing at 7.7% ABV.  One dollar from the sale of each bottle of this beer is being donated to the Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Patient Assistance Fund to help defray some of the ancillary costs of breast cancer treatment.

Please take a moment to read all about Althea in the article “Brewing Up a Helping Hand“.

Cheers!
