The sixth installment of our Brown Bag Series, Black Rye IPA is a dark IPA featuring the characteristic flavors of Rye Malt and the wonderful aromas of generous hopping.

Developed by Long Trail brewmaster Dave Hartmann, this IPA incorporates Barley Malt with three types of Rye Malt achieving, a lustrous profile that is spiced in both the kettle and fermenter with copious amounts of bittering and aroma hops.

This dark-bodied IPA is built for the waning days of Summer, when the days are warm and the nights are cool. The rich flavors of Rye Malt are balanced by the hoppy aromas that linger like the last-light of a late Summer night.

Specs: 6.0% ABV, 50 IBU
Hops: Northern Brewer, Chinook, Bravo and Galaxy
