Hill Farmstead Damon Imperial Stout Releasing Today

Some bottle releases coming from Hill Farmstead:

Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, 12 p.m.

Retail Shop/Shelf Release

  • Damon: Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels - 500ml - $15 - Two bottles per person

For those planning to attend the Sept. 26 bottle release: We will reserve a supply of Damon to accommodate one bottle per person at the bottle release (up to 300 people), to ensure that those traveling only for the bottle release won't miss out on Damon.

September 26, 2013, 11 a.m.

Please Note: This release is weather dependent because of ongoing construction and parking constraints. Severe weather could force postponement of the release, but we will update everyone should the need arise.

  • Flora: Barrel-aged farmstead ale - 750ml - $20  - One bottle per person
  • Flora - Satsuma Mandarin: Barrel-aged farmstead ale further aged on Satsuma mandarins - 375ml - $15  - One bottle per person
  • Double Barrel Damon: Imperial stout aged 1 year in port barrels, then 1 year in bourbon barrels - 375ml - $35   - One bottle per person

$15 from the sale of each bottle of Double Barrel Damon will be donated to the Hardwick area NEKCA to benefit the Early Childhood Literacy. The funds will go directly to the Hardwick area NEKCA and be used to help create/further a more robust literacy/learning program for children ages 3 to 5 years old.

At a date yet to be determined:

  • Elaborative #2: Saison brewed in September 2012 with Jackie O's and Virtue Cider.  Aged in various wine barrels for 1 year with bacteria/wild yeast. 
  • Damon: Imperial stout aged in port barrels - 500ml
  • Civil Disobedience #7: Blend of 2-year-old Art barrels and our favorite Belgian lambics.
  • Birth of Tragedy: November
