From Alaskan Brewing:
Winter arrives October 1, at least in pint glasses and bottles! This English Ale is a throwback to the early exploration of brewing in Alaska. Captain Cook famously brewed with spruce tips in the 1700's to keep his crew healthy while in search of the Northwest Passage. Today, we harvest the new growth each spring to find the perfect citrus notes to compliment the malty richness and crisp noble hops that make up our Winter Ale.
