Ranger Creek Releasing Small Batch Series No 6 - Flemish Ale

From Ranger Creek:

It has been a little while since we released Small Batch Series No. 5 back in March, but we finally have Small Batch Series No. 6 ready to rock.

We’re pretty proud of this one, and we’ve been waiting a LONG time to release it. Due to SB#5 selling out very quickly and the limited quantity of SB#6, we’ve had to put this release on allocation. There are only a little over 400 cases (or about 5,000 bottles) available, and we think they’ll go pretty quick. Read more about this exciting new release below.

Small Batch Series No. 6
Flanders Red Ale
8.0% ABV
12.7 oz. (375 ml) bottle
Label color: Brown
Wax dipped

We’ve been waiting patiently to release Small Batch Series No. 6 for quite some time. This Flanders Red Ale is a blend of 18 and 24 month barrels, resulting in a balanced, mature sour beer. It was re-fermented with strains of Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and Pediococcus, giving it a well developed and complex aroma of tart cherries with underling rich earthy tones. These notes are complemented by the addition of local Texas figs and black cherries. This sherry-like sour is deep red in color with hints of dark stone fruits and red apple and a slight tartness.
