From Brickstone Brewery:

Brickstone Brewery & Restaurant has partnered with Chicago Beverage Systems to distribute the popular Bourbonnais Brewpub’s beer in Chicago.

BrickStone Brewery started as a brewpub in 2006 in Bourbonnais, Il with cousins Tom Vasilakis, George Giannakopoulos, Dino Giannakopoulos and Tina Vasilakis. Due to the high demand for the family brewpub’s award-winning beers, they expanded their brewhouse to double their capacity in 2012. The brewery began to ship beer to a few dozen Chicago establishments last year. Now, the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) gold medal, and World Beer Cup bronze medal, winning American Pale Ale, as well as other award winning BrickStone brews, will be available throughout Chicago thanks to a distribution agreement with Chicago Beverage Systems.

Bill Emerson, General Manager, Chicago Beverage Systems said, “It is a honor to work with Tom and his family to distribute another great local brewer’s brands. BrickStone’s beers are popular with craft beer fans and the brewery has an established name in high-end beer and foodie bars all over Chicago.”

Tom Vasilakis, BrickStone’s cofounder and brewmaster, said, “Chicago is an important market to us, and while we like to think of it as our home market, we have outgrown the ability to service it ourselves. By partnering with Chicago Beverage Systems we can focus on brewing the quantity needed to meet the demand for our beer in Chicago and the rest of our markets and leave the delivery to Chicago Beverage Systems.”
