Sometimes your most valued treasures reveal themselves only after being long forgotten, and sometimes to discover their beauty you must break down your preconceived notions. Such is the case with Thensaurum, a 10.89% ABV, rum barrel-aged sour that is No. 17 in our Barrel-Aged Series.
This one-time brew is like a rum cocktail, featuring incredible aromas of pineapple and tropical fruit with dry, acidic, and sour notes. Only 276 cases of Thensaurum were produced.
The line party will begin at 11am and will feature rare beers and Tap Room exclusives. Thensaurum bottle sales begin at 5pm and will be sold for $10 each, with a 12 bottle limit per person. Availability can only be guaranteed at the Avery Tap Room during the release party until the beer runs out!
Rumpkin Tap Room Release Party!
Sunday, Sept. 22nd at 5pm
We wondered what would happen if a monstrous pumpkin ale, plump full of spicy gourdiness, were aged in fine fresh rum barrels to add suggestions of delicate oak and candied molasses. Rumpkin is what happened!
The line party will begin at 11am and will feature rare beers and Tap Room exclusives. Rumpkin bottle sales begin at 5pm and will be sold for $12 each, with a 1-case-limit per person, so come build your cellar!
