The Commons Brewery Releasing Widmer Brothers Co-Brewed Kindred Red Farmhouse

Portland’s The Commons Brewery will be releasing their Widmer Brothers co-brewed Kindred Red Farmhouse Ale.

This beer

uses our house farmhouse yeast and experimental X-431 hops from Widmer. The result is a dry, fruity Belgian ale with an assertive hop profile with notes of melon rind, white grape and soft pine.

Kindred will be in capped 750ml bottles for $8, available only at The Commons Tasting Room and Widmer Brothers Gasthaus. A small amount of draft will be available at The Commons, Widmer Gasthaus and select bars in Portland, OR.

Malt: Organic Pilsner / CaraRed / Dark Chocolate
Hops: Millenium / 431
ABV: 5.7%
