Great hoppy-news coming today from Saranac:
Through our exclusive new Hop Infusion Process, we maximize hop-to-beer exposure, taking this classic favorite’s flavor and aroma to a whole new level. We take our hops and create a concentrated hop slurry that is infused into our beer as it passes through aging, taking dry hopping to a whole new level. Each and every drop of beer is exposed to hops, rather than the traditional process of letting our beer rest on top of dry hops in the tank. By doing this, we aren’t altering the hop flavor of the beer, but we’re creating a fresher hop taste and brighter hop aroma.
We implemented this process, then submitted Pale Ale for judging at the U.S. Open Beer Championship, and it won a gold medal! We got H.I.P. and we have the medals to prove it. If you haven’t tasted it in a while, we recommend you drink one soon. Cheers.
