Durham’s Casco Bay Brewing Plans Fade in Favor Of Tigpro Brewing

DURHAM – Plans for a small brewery on Pinkham Brook Road in Durham are off.

Michael LaCharite, founder of Casco Bay Brewing Co, had received a permit from the Durham Planning Board Sept. 5 to launch Katahdin Brewery, a small-batch brewery devoted to Belgian-style ales.

Instead, LaCharite will focus on his new company Tigpro Brewing Systems, a manufacturer of brewing equipment designed for brew pubs and breweries.
