and So Cal Beverage Distributors announced today an agreement for the distribution of Strike’s craft beers in seven Southern California counties. Distribution of the Strike craft beer portfolio commences Monday, June 24, 2013.
So Cal Distributors will be distributing both draught and bottled products, including Strike’s IPA, Blonde, Brown, and Imperial Red ales. The Imperial Red will be the first draught product available in Southern California. Jenny Lewis, Strike CEO, comments, “We are very excited to be entering the Southern California market. This is a huge opportunity for us to expand our market presence. There are a lot of exciting things on the horizon and our partnership with So Cal is just the beginning of a big year.”
So Cal Beverage distributes in the following counties: Santa Barbara, Venture, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, Kern/Bakersfield, Riverside, Imperial and Los Angeles. Lewis also said, “From the first conversations with So Cal, we knew they would be a great partner for us. They focus on the craft niche and really had an interest in our lineup and our growth plan. It’s an exciting venture for us both.”
Incorporated May 2011, Strike’s first beer styles were released in December 2011. Strike Brewing Company changes the image of the typical craft beer drinker by becoming THE brand synonymous with an active, adventurous lifestyle.
