Interesting Miller Coors news for the former Olympia Brewery.  Details from The Olympian:

MillerCoors has agreed to lift the deed restriction that prevented alcohol from being produced at the former Olympia Brewery, likely kicking the door open a little wider to attracting a new buyer and user for the site.

:

Thursday marks the ten year anniversary of the Olympia Brewery closure The

change in the deed restriction was announced Thursday by Troy Dana, the commercial real estate broker who has been trying to sell the brewery property since 2008 after the brewery closed in June 2003. The final whistle at the brewery blew on June 20, 2003, and then the plant shut down a week later, resulting in 400 layoffs.
