Hangar 24 Launches Redlands 125th Ale

“We are honored that city officials asked us to brew a special beer for Redlands 125th Anniversary,” said Hangar 24 owner and Master Brewer Ben Cook. “We thought it would be fitting to brew our first true Red Ale to celebrate the occasion. It was a lot of fun for the team to create this beer and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

The red, hoppy ale will be available only in the city of Redlands on draught and launches on June 14 at the Surfin’ State Street event. It will also be available at the June 22nd Redlands Wine and Music Festival, as well as the Redlands Food Truck Festival on June 29. The proceeds of these three events go to Redlands Community Foundation and Hangar 24 is donating the beer to the Surfin’ State Street and the Wine and Music Festival. Redlands 125th Red Ale will also be on tap at the Brewery’s Tasting Room, starting June 15, and at local accounts within the city limits that serve draught. Given the geographical limits to its distribution and not being available in bottles or cans, the only real way to drink Redlands 125th Red Ale outside of the city limits is to have a growler filled at the Brewery.

“We brewed this beer so the people of Redlands would have a unique, locally brewed beer to enjoy as they celebrate their Anniversary,” said Cook.
