Being a creative soul is something that needs nurturing. While oftentimes creating something that is true to you is derived when you are most focused, collective thinking can also help give encouragement and additional perspective.
ADX Portland is a special place. It’s the type of place that welcomes crafters of all types – from high-profile designers to students – and gives them a collective space to work and share experiences. Located in the Pearl District of Portland, Ore., ADX is a hub for those who have a passion for creativity, inspiration and community.
In November of 2012, we formed a relationship with ADX and on November 16th, we opened the ADX Ninkasi Better Living Room. The Better Living Room is used for events of all kinds including art shows, open house events, first Friday events, staff appreciation parties, craft fairs, and creative brainstorms! The space is also rented out to organizations to hold events like Gamblikn’ Artists, an oil-based paint company in Portland, who hosted a new color preview at ADX.
While we support ADX with a flexible space and a place to keep the beer flowin’, it is really all about creating community and supporting those who inspire. We hope this video inspires you to do something creative. It truly is Perpetuating Better Living at its finest!
