Troegs Flying Mouflan Shipping Now & Rugged Trail Nut Brown Ale Available Now

imageFrom Troegs:

Flying Mouflan, our bold and intense American-style Barleywine Ale, is currently being shipped to wholesalers in all of our distribution markets. Described as “pushing Nugget Nectar off the side of a cliff,” Flying Mouflan is delicious and complex. Think hops dipped in candied sugar and rolled in dark chocolate nibs, and you get an idea of what this beer is all about. Due to the commissioning of our new packaging line and getting everything up and running smoothly, Flying Mouflan will not be available in bottles this year. Expect Flying Mouflan to start popping up in drinking establishments throughout our eight-state distribution footprint in the coming weeks. Growler fills are also available in our Tasting Room at the brewery.

Our annual resurrection of Rugged Trail Nut Brown Ale hit draft lines in our Tasting Room on Friday, April 26. Rugged Trail is our rendition of a classic English Brown Ale. Originally released simply as “Nut Brown Ale,” Rugged Trail was eventually given a makeover and became one of Tröegs’ first year-round beers. Rugged Trail boasts a deep bronze hue, rocky head, and subtle hop aroma. The Toasted Amber and Chocolate malts impart a rich nutty character and creamy texture, making Rugged Trail an obvious quaffing delight! 4.6% ABV and 22 IBU. Draft and growler fills available for a limited time only!
