Hill Farmstead - First Bottle Release Coming 5/26

From Hill Farmstead:

MAY 26TH, 2013. 1PM? (TIME TO BE DETERMINED...)

Our First Bottle Release of the Year will take place on Sunday May 26th, following our Anniversary Party.  We have chosen this (relatively chaotic) approach because: it is a holiday weekend; many of our customers will be in the area for our Third Anniversary Party; Sunday is (seemingly) the day most commonly available to travel for such a release; tents will be set up in case it rains; our festival permit would allow us to pour samples; Brad from Jackie O's (one of the collaborating breweries in the Elaborative Series) will be here.  Bottle limits will be low - in order that everyone on site and arriving will be guaranteed an opportunity to taste these beers.  Bottle Limits will be set, as in the past, according to the number of people in line at the announced "Release Time" - currently 1pm.  Please check this page occasionally as the time may change to 1:30pm or 2pm over the coming weeks (and as our Anniversary Party and activities alter our own course.)  The day will include the following three releases (Pricing subject to Variability) as well as bottles of Everett, Arthur, and Grassroots Brother Soigné.

  • Elaborative #1: Tart Brown Ale brewed with Ohio Walnuts. Aged 18 months in a variety of oak barrels... in friendship with Brad at Jackie O's and Chad at Crooked Stave.  Brewed in November 2011.  375ml. 12$

  • Prolegomena: Flander's Style Red Ale: Aged in Wine and Port barrels.  In friendship with Will Meyers from Cambridge Brewing Company.  Brewed in April of 2011.  375ml. 15$.

  • Imperial Stout: To be Determined.
