Over the past few months, we asked you to contact your local elected officials in support of Maryland craft beer. And because of you, two key pieces of legislation passed and will be signed into law by Governor Martin O’Malley:
- House Bill 955: As early as July 1, we will be able to fill and sell growlers at the brewery, allowing you to purchase and take home beer fresh off our taps.
- House Bill 4/Senate Bill 32: We will be able to sell beer by the glass in our taproom as early as July 1. This legislation will allow us to have additional sampling opportunities for our fans, entertain more impromptu visits, and increase tourism and business across the state.
We cannot thank you enough for your continued support of Maryland craft beer. You are part of the revolution.
