Drakes Alpha Session Ale Returns May 4th With Omega Session

On May 4th, our gift to your livers,  the scourge of all hangovers, and your first call for hoppy refreshment, Drake's Alpha Session will return. Our "Nor Cal bitter" is a boldly-hopped, but mercifully sessionable 3.8% ale that we think stands up to anything else the West Coast has to offer.  With a simple base of 2-row barley, Maris Otter, and C-45 malt, our California style shines through with a classic mix of West Coast hops, followed by a generous dry hop of Simcoe, Citra, and CTZ for a piney, citrusy beer that's just about perfect as we head into the long, hot, beer soaked days of lawnmower and festival season. 

Look for it in 4-packs starting in May, and feel free not to share.

Also, for our hometown fans and Barrel House regulars, we're completing the circle with Alpha's other half. The yin to its yang if you will. The West Bay to its East. The dark side to its Jedi powers. Here at the Barrel House and round the Bay Area on draft only, we will also be releasing Omega Session, a dark, hoppy, session ale at 3.8% ABV that you'll be free to call whatever you like whether that be a "mini-CDA," a "session black IPA," or "Alpha's brother from another mother." Whatever you choose, you'll want a few of 'em. Cheers.
