Today we get a peek at a new series of beers coming from Two Roads Brewing called The Road Less Traveled Series 2013. This first release is called Igor’s Dream Russian Imperial Stout and it is a stout age din Rye Whiskey Barrels. Igor’s Dream is named after helicopter pioneer Igor Sikorsky, it will be packaged in 750ml bottles and come in at 10.9% ABV.
From Two Roads:
Although Igor would not have been happy with the flight delay, we are finally going to take off with Igor’s Dream on March 23rd.
Igor’s Dream is Brewmaster Phil Markowski’s unorthodox version of a Russian Imperial Stout. It’s a 10.9% ABV Russian Imperial Stout aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels.
Bottles will be sold for $20 per 750 ml bottle (25 Ounces). Bottles are vintage dated and hand numbered with cork and cage finish. Unfortunately, due to a very limited amount of Igor kegs, we will not be offering Igor growlers in the tasting room.
Brewery doors open at 9am (6pm Moscow time) — there will be a three bottle maximum per person since we only have 1000 on hand.
Like Igor, we expect this Russian Imperial Stout to fly!
