March 13, 2013/mbb/ - Fort Collins, CO – Local brewery Pateros Creek Brewing Company and local coffee roaster Conundrum Coffee have teamed up for the month of March to create four exciting new coffee beers. The teams collaborated to customize beers highlighting the delicious flavors in Conundrum’s current coffee lineup, and the results are something to taste.

“Typically, coffee beers are comprised of a dark beer and a dark-roast coffee. For this collaboration, however, we really wanted to showcase some unexpected flavors. We’re featuring some less common beer styles which allow the nuances of Conundrum’s single-origin coffees to shine through,” explained Lead Brewer Nick Chase.

One beer will be released each Thursday as part of Pateros Creek’s Outlaw Series, and the month will culminate with a tasting event not to be missed. On Saturday, March 30th, the two companies will come together to host two tasting sessions (at 1:00pm and 3:00pm), where beer and coffee lovers can taste all four beers and help decide which one should move into production. Brewers and roasters will be on hand to discuss the collaboration and gather feedback from participants.

The $10 ticket price includes a taster flight of all four beers and a sample bag of Conundrum Coffee. Tickets may be purchased here: www.pcbrews.com/conundrum. Space is limited.
