I know you always love to see the unusual and new beers coming from Oskar Blues…so why not? Today we get to see the keg label for Grandma’s Big Ol’ Pils Ale. This beer will be 6.7% ABV and it should be interesting to see if it really is a Pilsner and an ale.
Is this the new seasonal coming (or is it Guten Lag-err) in June that Chad Melis mentions in Westword?
In June, Oskar Blues will debut a new seasonal beer, although Melis says the brewery isn't sure yet what it will be. The brewery has rolled out a few new styles of cans over the past year, including a bottle-shaped can aluminum can with a twist-off top and a 19.2- ounce royal pint. Melis says he isn't sure yet what style of can the new beer will be in.
