Raleigh, NC, March 04, 2013/mbb/ --(PR.com)-- Mims Distributing Company (http://www.mimsdistributing.com), a beer distributor that services a nine-county area in and around the Triangle, has announced that it has added Bear Republic Brewing Company, an award-winning microbrewery from Sonoma County in California, to its lineup of brands.
Located in Healdsburg, Calif., Bear Republic was named Small Brewing Company and Small Brewing Company Brewer of the Year at the Great American Beer Festival in 2006. Its best-selling product, Racer 5, is a hoppy American IPA, heavily hopped with Chinook, Cascade, Columbus and Centennial. Other beers for the brand include Red Rocket Ale, an American amber ale; Hop Rod Rye, a rye IPA; Big Bear Black Stout, an American stout; Peter Brown Tribute Ale, an American brown ale; and XP Pale Ale, an American pale ale. Additionally, the brewery hosts a large variety of seasonal beers.
