Troegs - Next Splinter Series Beer Bottling Today - Aged 3-Years

I’m still piecing together some details, but this photo has found it’s way out of Troegs showing 750ml cork and caged bottles being filled today….which can only mean one things….Splinter Series!

mybeerbuzz checked in with Troegs and there are no details on style yet, but these are bottle conditioned beers so we’ll all have to wait for them to carbonate before any release dates can be announced.  This beer was three years in the making so I can’t wait to try some.

As far as style, it seems that Tim may have his hand in this one so I’m guessing this MAY be the rumored Belgian Dubbel (a cousin to Scratch # 34) aged on oak for 3-years?  Stay tuned….other than the details above it’s all rumors for now.
