Tulsa, Oklahoma - February 26, 2013/mbb/ - Marshall Brewing Company will officially release their spring seasonal Revival Red Ale at Bar 46, 107 N. Boulder, Tulsa, OK, March 1st, 2013 at 5:00PM. The release will include, a special cask-conditioned version of Revival Red Ale, sampler flights, as well as brewmaster Eric Marshall and a ceremonial tapping of the first keg of Revival Red Ale. Also present will be the Lone Wolf Bahn Mi food truck offering their delicious menu featuring bahn mi and kimchi french fries. The event is open to the public.

Revival Red Ale is an American Red Ale that pays homage to our great state of Oklahoma (the 46th state to join the Union). This sessionable ruby hued ale is perfectly suited to be enjoyed with the renewal that spring brings to the Red Dirt State each year. A balanced blend of six malts gives this ale a medium body and a savory malt base. Chinook and Cascade hops shape a wonderful citrusy hop profile and the addition of Centennial dry-hops enhances the fruity aroma. The result is a revival for your taste buds.

The packaging for Revival Red Ale is similar to the original flag of the state of Oklahoma, adopted in 1911 and later abandoned in the 1920's during the Red Scare. Coincidentally, Bar 46 uses the original flag echoing a revival of the 46th state to join the Union's history. 2013 marks the third year that Marshall has released its popular spring seasonal. Revival Red Ale will be available in 12 ounce bottles and six packs at liquor stores, restaurants, and bars across the state of Oklahoma. The spring seasonal will replace Big Jamoke Porter, Marshall's winter seasonal, on draft at a limited number of locations throughout the state. Stated brewmaster Eric Marshall, "Revival Red Ale is a vibrant ale with a hop forward profile providing an aroma of pine and citrus. This beer brings an awakening to the senses. I cannot wait to enjoy a Revival with the intensely flavored bahn mi from Lone Wolf. "

HB1341 Passes House Floor Vote

February 26, 2012 - Today the Oklahoma House of Representatives heard HB 1341 pertaining to brewery sampling and a floor vote was initiated. The measure passed with a 62-30 vote. Click HERE to see the voting results. Marshall Brewing Founder Eric Marshall comments, "HB1341 has better momentum this year than in years past. I am encouraged with the House passing the measure and hopeful that we will have a similar vote in the Senate soon. I would ask that everyone contact their State Senator and urge them to vote Yes on HB1341 as a pro-business, pro commerce bill."

Oklahoma House Bill HB 1341, introduced by Representative Glen Mulready (R-Tulsa & Creek County), seeks to amend Section 521 of Title 37 to permit licensed brewers of beer in Oklahoma to provide limited free samples to the visitors to the licensed brewery premises. Rep. Mulready worked with Marshall Brewing Co. Founders Eric & Adam Marshall to author HB 1341, which received overwhelming bi-partisan support before the House's Public Safety Committee on February 6th.
