Foolproof Revery Russian Imperial Stout Bottles

Today we get a peek at the 22oz bottles coming from Foolproof Brewing for their Revery Russian Imperial Stout.  Revery uses 2-row, crystal 40 & Carafa roasted barley as well as chocolate malt & flaked oats.  Look for Northern Brewer, Tettnanger & Hallertau hops and of course a big 10.7% ABV.

  1. On tap an English Cellar Alehouse in Providence. Pours dark like motor oil, but not as viscous as I thought it was going to be. Hides the big abv well, not overly sweet. Nice bitterness to the finish. Very drinkable.
