White River Brewery Coming to Springfield, MO

Today we get news of a new brewery set to open…this time it’s White River Brewing in Springfield MO.  Details from Ozark First:

A new brewery is on the cusp of opening its doors on the edge of the historic Commercial St. district.

Buz Hosfield owns the soon-to-be White River Brewery. He and Rod Triplet, the operations manager, agreed that Commercial Street's historic feel added to the appeal of the location.

White River is the city's third beer manufacturer, after Mother's Brewery and Springfield Brewing Company.

Triplet said his and Hosfield's beer would taste different than other local beers. He said the texture will be smoother, with a stronger malt flavor.
