The Bruery Launching Grandma Katz's Oatmeal Cookies & Belgian Golden Strong Experiment This Weekend

From The Bruery:

We have a busy weekend in front of us over here. Between the release of 6 brand new beers, our company party and the launch of a quarterly beer club, this should be a weekend for the books. Here is what we have going on.

1. 'Grandma Katz's Oatmeal Cookies' on Nitro: We let one of our long-time brewers, Kevin Hammons, brew one of his own recipes for the Tasting Room and this oatmeal stout is what he came up with. Based partially on a recipe for oatmeal cookies made by our CFO Carl's grandma, this oatmeal stout will be the first beer we have ever served on nitro in the Tasting Room. This is a Tasting Room only release and will be on tap starting Friday afternoon.

2. Belgian Golden Strong Release: This Friday we will also be releasing a brand new batch of 5 beers off of our pilot system. This round is a group of 5 Belgian Golden Strong Ales that have been brewed with 5 different types of yeasts. Each of those beers should highlight a specific type of yeast, giving you the opportunity to get a better understanding of how yeast affects beer. Those beers will only be available in flight form for the first couple of weeks they are on. Hopefully you find this opportunity as awesome as we do!

3. Sour In the Rye for RS Members: Reserve Society members can come in all weekend to get a free sneak-peak sample of this year's Sour In The Rye, which will be released formally in a couple of weeks. Just show us your new Reserve Society card and get your sample. Cheers!
