From Highland Brewing:
"Lordy, that's as red as the devil's britches," exclaimed a local rancher, awed by the vibrant canopy ablaze on what is known today as Devil's Britches trail. Highland Brewing Company commemorates the history of the Great Smoky Mountains and Devil's Britches trail with a rich, red IPA. Please join us for the latest addition to our seasonal line and celebrate the love of beer and mountains on Friday, February 1st for the Devil's Britches IPA release party! Like our other seasonals, Devil's Britches is named for a feature of the Southern Appalachian landscape. Along with each release party, Highland Brewing teams up with Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy and US Fish & Wildlife on a guided hike in the area each seasonal was named after. Some proceeds of beer sales goes to the conservancy and its' efforts in helping protect the world's oldest mountains and our back yard. Stop by Friday night to find out more information on how you can help protect the world's oldest mountains while enjoying a Devil's Britches and listening to great music in the tasting room!
