From our pal Dan Kenary @ Harpoon Brewery:
(Boston, MA) - If you’ve visited the Harpoon Brewery during a busy weekend lately, you know that we have outgrown our Visitor Center. After many months of planning and construction, we expect to open our new Visitor Center in early February. In addition to more space, views of the keg filling and warehouse, and an automated growler filler, we will be unveiling the new Harpoon Beer Hall! You will be able to sit at the bar or around long wooden tables and enjoy pints of freshly brewed Harpoon draft beer with friends, old and new. We’re really excited, and we think you will be too. Here’s a sneak peek at what is to come:
Visitor Center: Brewery Store, Weekday Tastings, Weekend Tours
Opening early February
The new Visitor Center is located on the western side of the building. The current Visitor Center’s entrance is located on the opposite side of the building. So, look for our new entrance on the side of the building facing downtown Boston.
Weekday hours of operation:
- Mon – Wed: 11:00am to 9:00pm; Thur & Fri 11:00am to 11:00pm
- Tasting at 2:00pm and 4:00pm daily
Weekend hours of operation:
- Sat: 10:00am to 11:00pm; Tours 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM (starting every half hour)
- Sun: 11:00am to 9:00pm; Tours 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM (starting every half hour)
Beer Hall: Harpoon draft beer and freshly baked pretzels
Opening early February
Sit at the bar or at long wooden tables. You’ll have great views of Boston as well as the brewery. A Harpoon Beer Captain will serve you a pint of Harpoon, straight from the source, along with a freshly baked pretzel. The perfect place to enjoy beer with friends.
Weekday hours of operation:
- Mon – Wed: 2:00pm to 9:00pm
- Thur & Fri: 12:00pm to 11:00pm
Weekend hours of operation:
- Sat: 10:00am to 11:00pm
- Sun: 12:00pm to 9:00pm
We are also constructing a new tour path which will enable visitors to tour the brewery via catwalks and see all the action up close. We expect the new tour path to be complete in March. At that time, we will start a new schedule of tours 7 days a week. Check back in March for details and schedule.
