Half Acre Double Daisy Cutter Ale Returns 1/18

From Half Acre:

"Friends, saddle up, strap on your spurs, we’re yanking the double headed donkey out of the tanks once more. Double Daisy Cutter is a beer that always sets a certain stage here at the brewery. We brew it about four times per year and each time it trips the switch here at Half Acre.

We’ve been doing this long enough that these beers begin to register all kinds of things for us. This beer means a holiday is coming, this one means cooler temps and this one make us remember an important period of time that coursed through our brewery. Double Daisy Cutter means good times ahead. We mash in the Donkey and push it to the tank where it undergoes a lengthy transformation into the deep syrup we pour into our lives; a familiar thrust recognizing that brewing raw & uncomplicated beers loaded with power is what rings loudest around these parts. We hope you’ll swing by and let us fill you with the same. For those that have never tipped back this particular au jus, Double Daisy Cutter is a series of choices rooted in excess that total a double pale ale steeped in glory and cast in honor. One of the hoppiest creations you’ll find in this corner of our fine planet.
