Odell - Cutthroat Porter, 5-Barrel Pale Ale & 90 Shilling Ale

image
Today you get your first look at the new packaging design for Odell Brewing’s new 12oz bottle labels.  First up we have Cutthroat Porter (5% ABV), a beer inspired by traditional London Porters and a beer that pays tribute to the state fish of Colorado, the cutthroat trout.  Next is 5 Barrel Pale Ale (5.2% ABV), a beer that gives a nod to their original 5-barrel brewing system and a beer that uses 4 hop additions in the boil, a 5th in the hop back and a 6th in dry hopping.  Finally we have 90 Shilling Ale (5.3% ABV), a beer that is Odell’s flagship ale and a beer named for the Scottish method of taxing beer…only the highest quality beers were taxed 90 shillings.
