This from UTSanDiego:
The San Diego Association of Governments, SANDAG, reported this month that 13 areas - known as industry clusters - account for 331,410 jobs here. That's about 27 percent of the local workforce. SANDAG has been tracking the growth of the clusters for about 20 years, and reports today that as of 2010 the average wage is $56,000 per year, which is $5,300 more than the total employment average for San Diego County.
