4 Hands Brewing Creates Beer Series Based on The Wizard of Oz : No Place Like Home Coming 1/12

St. Louis, MO – 4 Hands Brewing Company, a craft brewery located in St. Louis Missouri, will release 3 seasonal offerings this winter as well as two more to celebrate their one year anniversary. The first winter offering will be Smoked Pigasus. Smoked Pigasus is a smoked rye maple porter, which was a collaboration with Pappy’s smokehouse. Smoked Pigasus pours a deep mahogany with aromas of chocolate, smoke, and caramel. Available November through February - 6% ALC/VOL

Chocolate Milk Stout will be the second seasonal release. Chocolate Milk Stout pours black as the night sky with aromas of dark chocolate, chocolate malt, and more chocolate. Brewed with over 2 pounds of cacao nibs per barrel Chocolate Milk Stout will be a chocolate lovers dream! Available December through February - 5.5% ALC/VOL

Bona Fide Imperial Stout; an Imperial Stout brewed with whole vanilla beans and Goshen coffee. Bona Fide is big and bold with aromas of dark chocolate, espresso coffee, roasted malt, and mild vanilla. Available in January 2013 - 9% ALC/VOL

4 Hands Brewing Company will be creating a themed anniversary collection inspired by the Wizard of Oz. To celebrate year one they will be releasing two versions of their anniversary ale. Home, a double red ale, is the non barrel aged version. Home pours dark crimson in color with aromas of caramel, stone fruit, and toffee. 9% ALC/VOL

No Place Like Home, will be the barrel - aged version, which has been aging in Cabernet wine barrels for 6 months. NPLH pours dark amber with mahogany highlights. Look for aromas of toffee, oak, and stone fruit. 9.5% ALC/VOL

Look for Home and No Place Like Home to be released at the tasting room on Saturday, January 12th
