Ipswich Moving Into New Brewery & 5-Mile Hop Harvest IPA

Some exciting news coming out of Ipswich as they move into their new brewery space AND release their Five Mile Hop Harvest IPA.

We recently moved four of our new 120 barrel tanks into the facility. We look forward to moving some of our other equipment in the coming weeks!
Things are looking great as construction progresses!

5 Mile Hop Harvest IPA is a local-ingredient sourced IPA with hops from Ipswich, MA and Malts from Essex, MA. The intensely hoppy and floral aroma is followed by a big bouquet of Cascade and other American hops with a finish that's sure to delight IPA lovers!

We created 5 Mile with the sole purpose of creating exceptional beers using local ingredients. 5 Mile's mission is to use at least 50% MA ingredients while always having at least one ingredient from within 5 Miles of Ipswich. We believe there is nothing better than supporting local agriculture to make a product that is unique to Massachusetts and the North Shore. As variable as the seasons, 5 Mile will never be the same twice.

The spiciness of rye introduces our smooth new twist on a classic porter. Lush with dark chocolate aroma, Ipswich Rye Porter is a lively seasonal treat. At 6.3% ABV, this beer is incredibly smooth and delicious!

This beer will be available to the masses in 22oz bottles AND 12oz bottles in our NEW Winter Mix Pack!

The NEW Winter Mix pack is stuffed with a little something for everyone: 4 Ipswich Winter Ales, 4 Ipswich Original Pale Ales and 4 NEW Ipswich Rye Porters. Look for it on shelves!
