Half Acre - Mr. Ouroboros & More

imageFrom Half Acre:

"Hi gang, Eric here once again. That stirring feeling you have… it’s not just the wind outside your windows. It’s not just the water being hurled from the oceans across our country. Things are changing, and amid all of this movement, all of this swirling, let’s hunker down and have a short but toasty chat.

Our second wet-hopped offering for the year, Mr. Ouroboros, will be creeping out of the hop fields and into our taps. We’ve once again teamed up with Jonathan Cutler of Piece Brewery for this aromatic beast. Mr. Cutler brought some Kölsch yeast by, we threw in big bags of whole-cone Citra hops, and the result is a highly-slammable 6% beer. Come get your fill, $15 for a 64-ounce and $9 for a 32-ounce growler (+$4 for a new growler), tomorrow. A THIRTY-TWO ounce growler option, you may be saying to yourself? Yes, these lil’ guys just arrived in the brewery, and are now available for fills.

Our tour will start a few hours earlier from here on out. If you were thinking of jumping on the Half Acre Brewery Tour this Saturday, it will now start at 11 AM. Plan accordingly. Speaking of Saturday, the 4th Annual Half Acre Charitable Chili Cook Off will be going down THIS Saturday, November 3rd. Benefiting The Arts of Life, you can get your chili on, get your beer on, and help out a great cause while doing so. Tickets are still available, see you there."
