Win a Pabst Blue Ribbon Bicycle !

Oct 08, 2012 - Goodness happens in a lot of different ways. Why not in the form of a Pabst Blue Ribbon Bicycle?

Over the next two months, Growlers Pour House in Charlotte, NC, is hosting an online sweepstakes to give away a shiny, blue, PBR-branded bike. The craft beer bar is also giving away other prizes such as t-shirts and gift cards. The purpose? To create a marketing program that simultaneously raises money for JDRF Charlotte.

The Growlers Pour House marketing efforts often include a charity element. For the past several years, the craft beer bar – which was selected as one of the Top 100 Beer Bars in the US by Draft Magazine for two years in a row – has hosted an Oyster Roast to benefit JDRF. The next Oyster Roast will be held in the Spring of 2013.

The PBR Bike Giveaway begins on October 5 and lasts until November 30 – and for every new “like” on their facebook page, Growlers Pour House will donate twenty-five cents to JDRF, up to $500.

Type 1 Diabetes is of special importance to Growlers Pour House and the Pabst Blue Ribbon Family. Both companies lost very-loyal and loved Type 1 Diabetic staff members over the last couple of years.

“We hope we’re able to not only raise the full $500 for JDRF Charlotte,” says Owner, Jeff Tonidandel, “but ideally we’ll also help raise awareness of Type 1 Diabetes – a disease that impacts millions of families, and still has no cure.”
