Sprecher Hopfuzion WI Fresh Hop Hits Shelves

(Milwaukee, WI) – What do you get when you wet hop Sprecher Special Amber with 300 pounds of fresh Wisconsin Cascade hops and age the beer for six weeks? A remarkably easy drinking Wisconsin lager with a smooth mouth feel; fruit notes; dry toast and biscuit maltiness in the middle; and a tantalizing hop bitterness on the finish? Hopfuzion — Sprecher’s limited fall release incorporating Wisconsin fresh hops.

Due to this year’s drought the yield of Wisconsin hops was unfortunately low. Luckily, we were able to secure enough of this precious brewing gem to produce 75 barrels of awesomeness. At 5.0% abv (alcohol by volume), this is a great session beer.

Hopfuzion will be available in draught and 22oz bottles. The draught will be released October 12th, and the 22oz bottles will be available October 22nd. Hopfuzion will be available throughout Wisconsin, and in bottles or tapped for growlers at the Sprecher Gift Shop, 701 W. Glendale Ave., Glendale, WI 53209.
