Rogue Ales Pumpkin Harvest - Pumpkin Patch Ale

It’s pumpkin harvest season for Rogue and you know what that means….Pumpkin Patch Ale can’t be far behind!

The Rogue Farms GYO Dream Pumpkins were harvested at the peak of ripeness, sweetness and color. Then they were loaded into Rogue's farm truck and driven immediately 77 miles to our brewery in Newport, Oregon. Then the pumpkins were quickly washed, chopped, roasted in the old pizza oven, and pitched into the brew kettle to create a batch of Pumpkin Patch Ale.

Pumpkin Patch Ale will be available worldwide in a new orange painted 750ml bottles in Fall 2012. Rogue is dedicated to saving the terroir of Oregon hops, pumpkins and barley one acre at a time, by growing its own. The Rogue GYO 200 acre Micro Barley Farm is located in Oregon's Tygh Valley Appellation and Rogue's 42 acre Micro Hopyard is located in Oregon's Wigrich Appellation
