Devil’s Trumpet Brewing One Step Closer to Opening in Hobart, IL

Another new brewery, Devil’s Trumpet Brewing Co is one step closer to opening at 8250 Utah St. in Hobary, IL.  Details from The Suntimes:

The Plan Commission on Thursday made it easier for the owners to cross one of those hurdles when it agreed to recommend to the City Council that the municipal code be amended to allow breweries, wineries and distilleries.

The City Council is expected to vote on the amendment at its Oct. 17 meeting. 

Brasovan said Devil’s Trumpet Brewing Co. would move into an existing warehouse at 8250 Utah St., just south of U.S. 30 and next to Carpet Liquidators. He said they would make and serve beer on site with food being added later.
