Two exciting new bees coming from Widmer Brothers…KGB Russian Imperial Stout 2013 is a “W Series” beer and a traditional RIS. KGB will be packaged in kegs as well as 12oz and 22oz bottles, it comes in at a big 9.3% ABV and base don the packaging this will be a 2013 brew. Brother’s Reserve Raspberry Russian Imperial Stout ‘13 is an ale brewed with raspberries and raspberries added. This is Brothers’ Reserve limited edition No 8, it will be packaged in 22oz bottles and come in at 9.3% ABV. According to the label, the addition of raspberries during fermentation results in an almost “purplish opaque color & beautiful brown head” and it sounds tasty!
