Over the last 4.5-years, mybeerbuzz.com has changed considerably. What started as a fun way to help Northeastern PA keep track of craft-beer tap lists, has now grown into one of the leading craft beer websites in the U.S. With page-views topping 1-Million in Sept 2012, and growing rapidly each day, our little beer blog has grown up!
In April 2010 mybeerbuzz.com teamed up with WILK News Radio to form the Friday BeerBuzz live weekly radio show. The show is a ton of fun, and it was icing on the cake when we won the 2011 PA Association of Broadcasters Outstanding Radio Feature Series Award and the 2012 PA Associated Press Award. With guests like Jim Koch, Mitch Steele, Garrett Oliver, Larry Bell, Spike Buckowski, Jimmy Mauric, Dan Kenary, Jaime Jurado, Chris Wilson, Chris & John Trogner, Mark Carpenter, Brett Joyce, Phin Demink, Shaun O’Sullivan, Phil Leinhart, and Bret Williams (to name a few)…we have rapidly crossed over the 130 show mark and driven even more traffic to mybeerbuzz.com!
Over the last year, I have redesigned the site to keep the important content front & center, but also to allow for growth and sponsorship. While much of my current sponsorship is local, I’ve had numerous requests from national sponsors for advertising space.
