Gibbons Cone Top Can SELLS for $36K

We brought you news of this beer collection being auctioned off, and now the auction is over.  According to Philly.com the above Gibbon’s Can from our very own Lion brewery went for $36,000!  Details from Philly.com:

A "Gibbons Bock LP Cone Top" - billed as the "holy grail of Bock cans," complete with metal cap - fetched the top amount, $36,000.

Collectors came from all over the country, and the total haul from 1,800 lots was $1.25 million.
